BTN range should be quite wide, even if we have no fold equity (we could have some, occasionally) shoving is still good.
I would definitely shove this. You are not particularly risk averse since you cover the button by a lot and there are still 9 players left. You are getting a slight discount from posting the big blind, and your hand should be well ahead of the button's range. The button should be raising hands like QJ and A8, so AJ should be ahead much more often than it is in trouble.
If the button had pushed, AJo would be a call. You usually should not fold to a smaller raise if you would have called a push. If folding is not an option, then your choices are reraising (and there isn't room to do much other than push) or calling. If you call, then you will usually have the best hand on the flop, but it will be hard to bet ace-high for value. It is better to push preflop while you are confident that you are ahead of the button's range rather than letting him see an unfavorable flop so that he might fold.
