another analysis of a good reg's line.

BB is good reg, huge HS winner. etc etc... dont have a large sample but hes def one of the best players on the 60s+ on FTP imo.

HJ is unknown to me running 16/4/3.5AF 13% limp 46hands unfiltered.

i have no idea why he c/r here... i would have c/c and re-eval turn. thoughts on BB line.. thoughts on a good line with 1.3PSB left

Hard to guess what he thought or what reads he had, but if the Opponent is aggro, then I think the C/R is fine, he is getting some bluffs and he is protecting his hand, the problem with C/C is, that he will be OOP on the turn, he has to bet there or give villain 2 feecards and then he still has to bet the river and will not be called very often.
And I could imagine, that he didn't want to push, but saw himself comitted. But honestly I cant see many hands, that a fish plays this way and that are worse than JJ, but it might be possible, so I think C/R /fold would be better.

I phrased it badly, I would C/R all in I think, but imho his play would be better if he had folded. Cause he is drawing to 2 outs here sooo often.

Either way I don't mind the line...villain is so unlikely to have Kx and players often stab when checked to so you get to trap a bet. With 1.3 PSB behind I think c/c is pretty silly unless you think the guy is just going to barrel off. As far as only having two outs when villain puts the rest in I think that is pretty results oriented. He could easily have a mid pair he thought he was committed with - especially given the preflop action which is almost always a midpair or JTs type holding in my experience. It just happens this time he had the ye olde three of a kind here

Given that the limp calling villain has tightish stats I am not loving life here but still think the line is optimal.

Yeah, even in this example he had exactly that, small pocket pair. BB's line is bit strange, but good.
