No rubbish

Only joking!!!!

77 check pre with 2 limpers - so confident of you hand you want to keep them in the game?

Raise pre to thin the field. And to increase the pot.

As played post flop overpair and OESD v possible flush - pot size bet on flop, 2/3 bet on the turn and assess (SB could easily have A♥x, K♥x - you are keeping him in the pot!)

I check pre too.. I think there's no harm playing a small pot when we're going to be OOP vs the UTG limper (you rarely see limp/folds from UTG). I defs raise 99 for value though, probably 88 too.

Flop looks fine imo. Drawy board, we have plenty of outs if we're already behind (not that often I think), and there are a stack of turn cards which will make our hand worthless if we see the turn 3-handed.

Checking the turn for pot control looks ok, and a bunch of draws got there so he can bluff check/raise you off the best hand if you bet, which is really gross.

River I think you have to raise for value. You have the 2nd nut straight, he never has 79 for the better straight so you're really only worried about flushes... So you should be trying to get value from 2-pair, sets, stuff like that. He doesn't have the flush nearly often enough to make raising bad imo.

Ok thx.. just found out a "small leak" as I don't usually raise 99 and below in this kind of spots but prefer to play it passively (as I hate being OOP).. I guess I'm missing some value here but not by much I think..

But if I raise the river, then I assume I have to raise for value/fold to a reraise right?

Gahhh maybe.. depends on opponents. Vs looser villains I think I'm just stacking off here, because I know they can raise/shove the river with SO many worse hands.. versus nittier opponents I guess calling is probably safer.

I think we have to raise/fold the river or call. IMO Raise/stacking off here will see a pretty big loss in the longrun just ona ccount of how often we run into flushes.
