$0.25/$0.50 Limit Hold'em - 9 players

Pre Flop: (1.4 SB) Hero is BTN with 7  Q
6 folds, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, 1 fold, Hero calls

Flop: (7 SB) 8 :diamond: 6 :diamond: T :club: (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls

Turn: (4.5 BB) 2 :spade: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls
I bet because villain showed aggression.

River: (6.5 BB) 2 :diamond: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls
I bet because the only way I can win this hand is be making villain fold. Yet it didn't cut.

Final Pot: 8.5 BB
Hero shows 7hQh(a pair of Twos)
SB shows AsKh(a pair of Twos)
SB wins 8.1 BB

i´m a little bit too lazy to get out the starting hand chart but Q7s from the BU looks a little loose to me?! shouldn´t be a big mistake though. i think Q8s is an open? :)
the flop peel looks fine to me. the pot already has a decent size, you have a gutshot + position and he could easily just have overcards.
after his turn checks i like the two barrels. of course it looks stupid to get called down by AK but as you said: it´s your only chance to win the pot + it doesn´t have to work THAT often to be +EV.

your turn comment sounds a little weird though: "i bet because villain showed aggression?" ?
