Not really aggressive preflop so far. But in the last 10-15 hands was raising his button around 80%.

How often do you call here, and what do you expect ?

Unless he has an ace, you have the nuts here. Any ace is good, suited even better. According to Nash, you can't be exploited calling here. That doesn't mean your play is optimal though.

It really depends on the read on your opponent. If he's really loose and just trying to bluff you out of every pot, then it's a great call. He only has better odds with a better ace or pocket pair (77+).

Has he pushed all-in before? If he has a couple of times, I'd call.

If this is the first hand he pushed, I'd be more careful, since he might have a monster. Remember, you are still deep stacked, compared to the blinds.

Hi all,

Ugly but I call here as well. I expect to see a wide range here, and given that opponents don't often plan in this situation, I expect to see weaker hands only (although some weaker hands beat you). I also expect to see AA and maybe KK sometimes. But oh well, too bad...
