Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (9 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

UTG ($22.85)
UTG+1 ($20.04)
MP1 ($84.86)
Hero (MP2) ($13.03)
MP3 ($13.80)
CO ($32.49)
Button ($25.07)
SB ($22.20)
BB ($32.47)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K, A
3 folds, Hero bets $0.85, MP3 calls $0.85, 2 folds, SB calls $0.75, 1 fold

Flop: ($2.80) A, 3, 8 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $2.50, MP3 calls $2.50, 1 fold

Turn: ($7.80) J (2 players)
Hero bets $3, MP3 raises to $6, Hero folds

Total pot: $13.80 | Rake: $0.69

Villain is unknown, on flop I put him on Ax or FD. On turn I was not willing to give up the hand with TPTK, but did not want to commit myself either, I thought some Ax might still call me or even fold. checking would have invited a bet from anyone even a float would have been probably more expensive. However I did not like the spot I was in. Was the near PSB on flop ok? should have I check/fold the turn because FD completed?

You can bet $2 since then you have more manoeuvring on the Turn.

Since the A:s is already out there are less combo's of Flushdraws persé so I would be more inclined to bet/f for value. I fold if he shoves because he is rarely if not any turning Toppair and/or a naked 1card flushdraw into a bluff.

Best regards,

I am not clear on you answer, do you agree with me that he is unlikely to bluff or do you think he is likely to bluff. As for the FD completeting I think there are a lot of SC that would have called the cbet and would have played the turn as he did.

He seldom bluffs the Turn
