Pre Flop: (45) Hero has A♦ K♥

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 120, fold, Villain calls 120, SB calls 105, fold

SB checks, Hero bets 280, Villain calls 280, fold

Turn: (950, 2 players) T♥
Hero ???

It was my very first hand of the tournament, I have absolutely no read on my opponents.

Should I slow down here and just check, or should I go broke? Or maybe bet again and check/fold the river?

by betting you are committing yourself to the pot. I would made 90 preflop and check the turn to see action of the other player. If he checks behind you could be ahead against a draw. And if the river is a blank you could check/call to induce a bluff or get value from worse ax type of hands.
But the 10 is a really bad card for you since its making ax twopairs, straights (kq) or j10 twopair possible.

but since its a freeroll i guess villain could probably also have some kind of acex that you beat or a flushdraw with lowcard suited connectors or 1gappers...
