I like it, your often behind here but you can get a lot of better hands to fold and i'm not sure opponent would smooth call on the flop with a deuce so I think this is 77 or overpair.
If opponent has overpair and flush draw then you're in a lot of trouble, but even then he might lay it down on the turn sometimes.
It's not an ideal situation but it's better than checking and letting any random flush draw with overcards catch up.
