Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Elephant.Base 0.96 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is UTG1 with Q♥, Q♣
Hero raises to $0,40, UTG2 calls $0,40, 7 folds.

Flop: ($0,95) T♦, 5♦, 3♦ (2 players)
Hero bets $0,6, UTG2 raises to $1,20, Hero folds, UTG2 gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: $2,15

Nothing spectacular about this hand but I have a questin according to eqity and ranges. When I put in the quilator pretty strong range for the vilain including sets and made flushes and look for hands with the needed 21% equity for a call it brings me huge range of callable hands including all dimonds. So my question here is is it profitable to call with any diamond on a flop like that?

Hello awesomeo,

The problem with Calling is that we will likely not know where we stand, he may as well Raise us with hands like A :diamond:T, and also with sets. Also if the opponent is reasonable then he ain't going to put his whole stack into the pot anyways if, another diamond comes. Also the opponent doesn't have 100BB either, against that stack I don't really like to the Call. So therefore, Bet/Fold likely better. :)

Best regards.
