I'd go for a check raise on this flop to give people with nothing the opportunity to bluff at the pot. Betting out wins money against players with Axxx but checking also allows you to win money off players with nothing whilst still having anyone with an ace in their hand shove against you (they wont check the flop!)

The king certainly is a terrible card for you, preflop raisers with an ace might very well have a king to go with it. With a PFR of 13 he definitely doesn't raise any ace so it's possible you're crushed at this point. I think folding is a bad option so the only other option is the one you took which is to shove the river.
