I am thinking that you should've either folded after his bet on the turn or maybe you could've bet on the turn (before his bet), so as to bluff that you had the straight. Then you could've still folded later.
Perhaps, since you didn't bet on the turn, the button was actually bluffing you. I don't think that he had a strong hand from the beginning since he didn't raise preflop. But I'm pretty sure that the river didn't change his hand.

I'd even fold on the flop.

Top pair looks pretty, but 4way against a donkbet we're either crushed against an overpair or 2pair+, or we're in against something like a FD + overcard + maybe even a straightdraw - we're just flipping against a FD+1 overcard and against a FD+2overs we're actually behind:

As played I'd definitely fold on the turn. We have some equity, but it's not nearly enough to justify the call, we get 3:1 odds but we only have 6 safe outs (for the straight, 2 outs make the flush) and we can't count the 2pair and trip-outs because somebody could easily have a straight/full house, so the 6 outs require something about 6.5:1 - 6:1 odds. Since we only get 3:1 we have to fold.

As played on the river I'd definitely fold as well. We're beat here close to 100% of the time imo.
