[Closed] How best should play this hand in this situation?

Easy dont flat the first raise your only asking for trouble, if you reraise the BB might fold probably not but at least you give yourself a better chance!

I don't agree, I think flat calling in this situation is fine. By the looks of it your on the final table of an MTT, the chances of the big blind opting to steal with a min(ish) raise and call before is pretty likely and given stack sizes you would be offering him decent odds to call your shove whereas 3-betting immediately gives him the opportunity to get away.

Posting the results doesn't help when assessing the situation alone. In this situation the money is making its way in no matter what AA v JJ at that stage of the tourney.

Hey stone even with it being 1.10 tourney you still think flating is a good idea considering fish will just come along most the time and them hitting some random 2pair is alot more annoying?

I play cash too rather than tourneys and would never flat call AA at the low limits i play at. But in this situation given his stack i think trying tog et as many people in the pot as possible is not a bad idea. Given the short stack he has, the moment you get dealt aces your gonna go broke no matter what, if you go out with aces then fair play, if you triple up you have a chance of winning it and shipping a huge return!

Wouldn't have made any difference with this hand, but you would be kicking yourself if BB had T9s or 98s and you kept him in the hand.

In this situation I think the outcome that would leave you the most annoyed is everyone else folding preflop.

I think you are looking at this from a cash game perspective or even a early-mid phase tourney position where a raise would be much more appropriate.

For the record I dont think that either way is particularly wrong but I do think saying to raise it every time is not the best advice

I play only MTT/MTSNG so looking at this from tournament perspective only and there was already a raise - so min-raise to induce call from UTG, but also to isolate UTG!

AA is good hand, but still only a pair, better to isolate one opponent than risk multi-way pot.
