CO ($19.43) 18/15, AF 0.8, WTSD 14, 61 hands
Hero (Button) ($11.75)
SB ($10)
BB ($10.30)
UTG ($9.25)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J♠, J♥
2 folds, CO bets $0.35, Hero calls $0.35, 2 folds

Flop: ($0.85) 5♦, J♣, 4♦ (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $0.60, CO calls $0.60

Turn: ($2.05) 8♠ (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $1.85, CO calls $1.85

River: ($5.75) J♦ (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets ???

Preflop I decided to just call and play JJ as a medium pair, not a big pair.

I think this is a bet sizing problem, which I got wrong. Thoughts?

Hello jbpatzer,

Preflop: Nah, anything ain't wrong here, I sometimes also prefer to just call and play postflop with JJ, since I am not really comfortable going broke against such opponents.
Postflop: Kinda standard, since the flush arrived you might even consider shoving directly, since he will often Call us if he did hit the flush. But also since his WTS ain't that big you could also consider Betting a bit smaller like $2-3 depending on your feeling what kind of opponent he is and what could he be playing that way.

OK. Thanks. I did shove the river and he tank-folded. I think he would have called with the flush, so I expect he most likely had AJ.

You are welcome! And he can't have AJ, since we have quads. Therefore more often he had a smaller PP or something similar. :)

Hehe, it's fine. I guess you didn't think that in game, that he had AJ or something similar. More often you put him on flush or something similar. :) Good luck on tables!
