SB ($5.83)
BB ($9.13)
UTG ($21.37)
UTG+1 ($10)
CO ($10)
Hero ($10)

Dealt to Hero A♦ K♥

fold, UTG+1 raises to $0.35, fold, Hero raises to $1.10, SB calls $1.05, fold, fold

FLOP ($2.65) 4♠ Q♠ 3♠

SB checks, Hero checks

TURN ($2.65) 4♠ Q♠ 3♠ 4♣

SB checks, Hero checks

RIVER ($2.65) 4♠ Q♠ 3♠ 4♣ A♥

SB checks, Hero bets $1.10, SB raises to $4.73 (AI), Hero?

SB is 35/10/5.0 only 33 hands

It's obvious that I have that ace still he could look me up with a lot of worse. Hero calls? It's ok to check back flop and turn?

I would of C Bet the flop and folded if they showed any interest. River i'd just check behind with my top pair. What were you trying to accomplish with the bet on the river? Hands you beat will fold and not pay you off so I thinking checking with showdown value is better here

As played i'd fold to the shove as can't see them doing this with a worse ace.

Hello jenoc,

Nope, I am not going to Call the river, he likely is slowplaying hands like QQ, AQ or maybe even flush. He would not pick such a line with AJ or anything like that. Therefore just Bet/Fold.

Best regards.

yeah i'd cbet flop here, it makes it kinda hard for him to continue with a lot of his pre flop calling range, especially oop. If he shows any resistance i'd just muck.

And yes, in such situation, I'd rather Check behind than get my money in this spot. Rather hope to hit something.
