My opponent shows a pair of aces and knocks me out of the tournament. Got very dissapointed. Where I have gone wrong? Or it's all about so called 'variance'? thank in advance for replies.

you run into cooler

why you just call preflop?

if you call to trap and slow playing your KK than = as played check/raise flop get it in, dont donk bet and you have a NH

if you just call to see if A hit on flop you play your hand very bad = then better play should be to just 4bet/shove preflop to look weaker and you have a nh

I like the way you played this , to 4bet preflop gives so much away about your holding , his range can be lot wider & flop looks realy good to get it all-in

Thanks guys. I had a suspission of him having pocket pair after 3bet. I thought it was QQ or JJ. Got unlucky with facing pocket rockets.

i would 4bet. Don't like playing kk oop in that spot so much. But its no real mistake to call here.
