Poker Stars $6.00+$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t100/t200 Blinds + t25 - 4 players

BB: t4055 M = 10.14
CO: t2410 M = 6.03
BTN: t1795 M = 4.49
Hero (SB): t5240 M = 13.10

Pre Flop: (t400) Hero is SB with A♥ T♦
2 folds, Hero raises to t500, BB raises to t4030 all in, 1 fold

BB is fishy. I was thinking I don't like the push because he can call with a few hands and I really don't wanna loose this nice stack on the bubble, plus its pretty much an overraise, pushing 21 effective blinds (isnt it?).
So, should I just openfold it, or maybe I should push anyway? If I go with the raise line, should I call his 3-bet?
What range do you push and/or raise here?

vs a reg, you can push here any two cards, because he should only call you with JJ+ maybe TT. He should even fold AK because he would lose 40% of the time and bust on the bubble with 2 much shorter stacks.

but with a fishy big blind who could call you with a lot more hands than he should, I guess you should tighten up a bit.

I would still push here with over half my hands. BB would have to be mega-fishy to make a push unprofitable.

It is a bit of of an overraise but there are antes too so its ok imo.

Hi all,

I prefer limping here with a wide range than raising a wide range or pushing a wide range (pushing is better than raising). If we limp and he raises we can then ship it in with a lot of hands, or stab postflop where villain has a lot of risk aversion.
