what should i do on this board. should i protect or checkintg behind and inducing bluff?

preflop 340-400 is fine depending on style.. you should probably adapt to making it 375 or 2.5xbb here..

flop checking for bluff induce is best.. although it's a draw heavy board.. but I still think checking is slightly better with given stack sizes..

When you check turn is a stnadard call.

and I call river as well.. He can bet his busted draws here.. and he can value bet Qx as well.. and many villains might check/call Ax on this river.. so I think calling is fine
