I guess I would call it since top pair with a gutshot straight flush draw is too good to pass up, and could have a pretty nice shot against his range, which probably would be something like 66,JJ,TT,QT+,K9+,JT+

Hello winnergr,

Preflop: I'd even raise bigger for the reason that we also are OOP, ~$0,50 or something similar.
Postflop: I'd actually also Bet/Fold the turn for the reason that we need like 35% equity to make it profitable.

But for example against this range we ain't getting it:

Player 1: 28,838% 28,259% 1,158% 70,583% AhQh
Player 2: 71,162% 70,583% 1,158% 28,259% QQ-TT, 66, AKs, QJs, JTs, 98s, AKo, QJo, JTo, 98o

I guess not even if we remove few sets and also AK. Therefore rather just Bet/Fold, as you played.
