[Closed] 24$ T9 freeplay hit TP+OESD

i like leading here with top pair + the OESD. usually just bet/folding because im confident when we get raised we wont have the correct odds to draw to our oesd and we should only get raised by a set or better Tx/2-pair.

as played, check/shove looks pretty good as well. the pot is huge and we have decent pair + redraw equity.

but if you usually fold after betting the flop, why betting the flop is correct? its 6way there is pretty much always one who don´t fold here and we cant fire a 2nd barrel ui

when we get raised, we are beat.

but we can easily value-bet against other draws or worse pairs because, as you said, no one folds anything.

why cant we fire the turn?

if we get 1 caller we can easily bet a blank turn again for value with our top pair. or c/c a small bet and c/eval the river. depends entirely on the cards/opponent who calls.

ah ok sry, but i expect to get raised that often 6way that i waste money by betting because i cant go broke on the flop. does this makes sense for you? how do i know if they raise this bet to much?

if they are very aggressive players c/r or c/c might be better because they will spew off on the flop with worse draws and pairs. but most unknowns are passive and will just call behind you with all the worse hands and only raise better hands. a 1/2 - 2/3 bet should be profitable in the long run imo.

do you assume that fish don´t slowplay in multiway pots?
Many player on the flop means for me much possible decisions. one will probably slowplay and how do we know that a better hand will raise here? if the fish hit a set and got no clue about protection than were beat right know. and probably won´t bet because he is card of the draws. by this example you have to hit your draw and its just one out of five.

its still very easy to play even if a fish flats a set multi-way. you can easily bet/fold the turn if he raises turn. you will always play a weak top pair cautiously if you get called. especially playing oop.

i think there is a lot more value from leading compared to c/r because when your opponent bet/calls you are usually crushed. but you can easily bet/fold against his strong raising range multi-way. and if we get flatted we have outs.
