Wanted to bet/fold flop. Not sure about bet/calling the turn. if MP2 bets big I would fold. These 2 $ I can easily call.

You are against two players, but one of them is very short stacked. I´d bet $3 to $3.5 on the turn, and wait for the reaction from the big stack.
