Main goals:-

I have only started recently playing an educated and disciplined game since I joined Poker Strategy two weeks ago. I am really enjoying seeing my learning paying off even if it is only at small limits.

All I want to do is to continue going thru the modules and retaining as much knowledge as I can and put it into my game so that I can become a great player. I would however like to know more about and improve my MTT play, utilise Poker Tracker so that I get the most out of it and read the posts and use the help on this site to improve.

One thing I will say is that after going through the modules I have a much better understanding of bad beats and that they are just part of it.

Thanks and Merry Xmas to you all

I will stop limping 86 suit, win a live tournament with over 300 players and get rich.
Dosent sound so bad, does it? :)

Climbing at least 2 limits, improving my play awell.

A question for someone who has played trough the limits, is going from 2000 USD to 20000 USD in one year a thing that could be done, playing just cash games and according to the BRM that is?

Timor got up to 11000 $ at one point, and he started in july this year.
Note the "at one point" though...

It's 12900$ including cashouts. Let's see if you can beat NL25 first, noob :P

It's definitely possible, but you have to be prepared for a lot of playing and studying. A 4:1 ratio where 4 is playing and 1 is studying should be your standard, especially when first entering a limit.

Anyway, no "let's see", be sure. I'll beat NL25 and NL50 in no time :)

Better stop raising A4s in the SB after limpers then ;)

My poker goals and lifegoals for 2008 are similar:

Pokergoals: get an avg. winrate of 50$ an hour.

Goals: Get enough money (or make enough money playing poker) to travel the world, and visit every country in this world before the end of 2012. I want to be homeless at least 4 years of my life.
