At first I thought it was standard (although I understood if I was called I was likely in trouble), but afterward I wasn't sure given villain only shoves when ahead with JT**/JT*c*c or folds, so our equity is always somewhere between 25%-35% when shoved on, or villain folds and we win $2.70, less rake.
I think we need 37% equity to stack off (excluding rake impact):
($2.70+$3.65):$3.65 = 1.74:1
Equity required to stack off = 1/(1.74+1) = 37%
I tried to do an EV calc on this, but hit massive maths fail. My stumbling block is how to work out what %age of times villain hits this flop hard enough to call (ie holding JT** or better) in order to calculate our %age of win v loss on hands where our flop bet is called.
I guess knowing villains pre-flop range, enumerating combos, then enumerating combos of JT** and working that out as a percentage of their total holding, then multiplying our EV when called by this percentage? What can we consider to be villains range - for this purpose? I figure it's almost 100% rundown hands 5678s+, but what is the nuts and bolts method for getting this as a number of hands?
I'm a little to dim to look at this and estimate whether we're okay shoving, I'm tired and emotional and need help (in many respects LDO).
