Hmm, well i'd 4 bet preflop and jam flop, but as played yes it looks fine. Of course it does look super suspicious as he must know we're not folding when the second ten hits on the turn and we call his check raise. But I think you can be flipping here a lot at the very least. I'm not good enough to fold this that's for sure and I probably would play it the same way against someone I had no history against for sure.

Why is a 4-bet best? I made a simulaion and we have 45% against a 14% range.

Did you put top 14% to his range? As it usually isn't that. In top 14% there are a lot of KKxx and QQxx hands that he won't 3bet with.

Heads up is more about 1 hand though. Being in position and a slight dog preflop is fine, plus also the metagame aspect of not letting him run over your button is important (it's better to be 4 betting light than calling his 3 bets when you have aces for balance).

SPR so small if you 4bet that you can't really use your position well enough... I thought peeling pre was quite standard? Anyway vs his 3betting range which should be balanced I'd say we're probably a slight equity favourite (medium rundowns, random doublesuited trash, premium QQxx, decent KKxx, most AAxx hands)

I think we are still behind and not far from 45%. A big part of the 3-bet range should also contain AKds AQds hands that dominates our hand.
