I decided to go for c/c on the flop here with fishy villains.
When they checked I decided that I should stab the turn since I most likely have the best hand.

Obviously I can't fold that river,

What do you think of my line?

I like that line. Though I would bet only 240 in turn.

preflop is standard.

Flop I check/fold.. It's 3way.. board hit's their range and it has a flush draw.. and we are oop...
bet/folding would be the 2nd best line in my head..
Check/calling just feels so wrong.. What are players at the $6.5's betting with here that they wouldn't call? and you would loose value from the flush draws and 9x that your actually ahead against...

turn I would bet ~200.. just a small value bet and a.. "feel bet"... gives us a good feel where we are at.. obvious bet/fold tho.. if they call we check/call good river cards... check/fold ugly ones..

as played barrell again!!! great spot to value town TT, JJ, 99, 88... Probably the best card in the deck for you to value bet except Q :spade:..
just something thin tho like ~300 again.. and we're bet/folding.. dont see them shoving with worse than QQ here ever.. but calling with worse often

About this hand,

On the turn, dont we want to bet high because of the FD ? We think we have the best hand here so shouldn't we protect it? What if river comes a club then we are in a pretty bad spot imo...

turn is a spot for thin value. you are looking for value from more than just flush draws, you want to get calls from 5x,9x,4x,88-JJ,straight draws. a lot of those weak pairs wont call for 3/4 pot but they will always call for 1/2 pot.

'protection bet' is a mis-used concept in poker IMO. you bet for value, you bet as a bluff. if you think a big turn bet will get max value from his entire range then go for it. IMO in order to get max value from his entire range (which includes more than just FDs) 1/2 is better
