Too Aggressive?

Because of the min-raise pre and pot sized bet I put UTG on AQ, KQs, KQo, QJs or medium pair. Thought with AA or trips he would have either check raised or made a smaller bet. KK was a possibility, but betting pattern was confusing.

Im guessing that when he best the flop potsize like that he is either medium strong or very weak. A set with QQ and TT would not bet potsize. He either has AA, KK and you are beat, or a weak hand like AT, JJ, 99, QJ, KJ, worse or even a pure bluffs.

So i think i would always just call on the flop. This way we allow him to keep bluffing his trash if he wants to. The board isnt really scary so we dont have to raise and fold out his bluffs. Then i would go all in on turn if he fires a second barrell. If he checks turn im probably shoving all in. (pot 9k, he would have 11k left) Nice protection in case he has the K :heart:J :heart:

PS.. these where my spontaneous thoughts.. i recommend you listen to what the coach has to say ♦

(This might actually be a problem that i have, being too passive and allowing people to suckout on me on turn and river. Maybe raising the flop is the way to go after all! Waiting for the coach...)

just call on that board. its pretty dry and with a raise your normally isolating yourself just against better hands. so just call the flop and then reevaluate turn. maybe checkbehind or bet/call turn.
