Hey,
As played i think bet/fold on turn is best, when we dont have any reads. Like u played, if we hit our FL then we are not even happy and we can be just drawing dead.

I also like b/f turn, since I don´t think he would c/r turn with worse hands than ours and if we can´t even call his river bet then folding turn is definitely better decision
