MP ($21.47)
Hero (CO) ($27.27)
Button ($26.53)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A, 8

Flop: ($4.85) 7, 7, 6 (3 players)

Turn: ($10.85) J (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $6.50, BB calls $6.50

River: ($23.85) Q (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

Total pot: $23.85 | Rake: $1.19

Villain is 19/14 with 1.1 AF and 11 3bet over 130 hands

I now think that I should give up on the turn as think he is c/c the flop with somewhat of a strong range mainly composed of 6x,7x,66-99 and very strong draws against which I dont really think that it is profitable to 3 barell because he is either CRAI them on the turn or is balancing his passive line with many monster/ value hands against which I'll end up value towning myself on the river.

Since your turn bet looks strong I don´t mind barreling turn, since he may easily fold there 88/99, 6x and lower pp-s or maybe c/c again with 89
Question is if you should shove river, since now flush also got, so he can´t really call you down with medium pp-s and you can have trips, flush or boat.
But if you have no information then going to showdown is also fine
