I think you just got yourself into a whole lot of trouble.
If the Villain is a calling station, and he missed the flop ,you would expect him to check/call or check/ fold. Likewise if he called with 79o, Q9o or QTo.
I think he hit the Jack.
As you were short stacked it doesn't really matter as you needed to push soon anyway and TT is not a bad hand. On the bright side you have a back door straight and flush. ♦
