to call a limp pot? Basically when or what hands are good to call and see a flop multiway limp pot?
Sry didn't word that question how I intended?
Should have been when are you getting the right odds to call in a limp pot?
eg 4:1 5:1 etc
Its not just about the pot odds - your ATC are about 3:1 to hit the flop and in a multiway pot with say 6 players the chances are that 2 of them will have hit- you need to be thinking of the implied odds too.
Thats what the Call 20 rule in the charts is about.
Limping in LP with low suited connectors, low to mid pairs and suited aces can be profiable but you have to be able to get away from your hand on the flop too. If you limp with Ac 3c and the flop is Ah 9c 7d you need to get away from your "top pair" as at best you are likely needing to hit your 3 (or running clubs) to win and the odds for that are too low to make calling any bet worthwhile..
