what i do, if i'm an early position raiser with AQ and someone goes over the top and we are both big stacks, I sometimes fold AQ if my stack can still last with the blinds.

My reasons?

  • Good players would usually shove with AK and pockets against an early position raiser, so you are either dominated or it's a flip coin.
  • It's rare for people to go all in with AJ or worser hands unless they are really bad players
  • If you are willing to risk a coin flip where you are slightly an underdog, go for it.
  • If you think your stack can still last for a few more rounds of hands, just fold it.

Just my opinion. I'm practicing if my ideas are good also.

just thinking 180man , it pays 10th to 18th same winnings & thinking your in that stage of tourney so look to get around 30K before final table in these

its close for me , lot players will raises to take down hands now so dont think you can put him on AK/Qs/Ks/As , depends on reads as his stats are good but think would call this

yeah it depends on reads... if you give him loser range like a10s+, ajo+, 77+ its a pretty easy call.
if hes tighter like aq+ and 10/10+ then its very close ->
on thing that would speaks for a call is that he would probably 3bet kk and aa in that spot -> so i would very often discount those 2 hands!

depends as we said on the player and his range!
