It is actually 10 handed, the converter fails for some reason :) Question is should I have just pushed pre-flop or is the 3 bet better? If he instashoves as I think as an UTG raise I could have considered folding? I don't think there's anything else I could have done on the flop but any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks in advance,

Known players:
SB = ($7.73)
BB (Hero) = ($3.78)
MP2 = ($10.91)
MP3 = ($8.75)
CO = ($12.67)
BU = ($3.50)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J, J.
MP2 raises to $0.40, 4 folds, Hero raises to $1.00, MP2 calls $0.60.

Flop: ($2.05) 8, 5, 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.78, MP2 calls $2.78.

Turn: ($7.61) 7 (2 players)

River: ($7.61) 2 (2 players)

Final Pot: $7.61.

Results follow:

MP2 shows a full-house, eights full of fives(8 8).
Hero shows two pairs, jacks and fives(J J).

MP2 wins with a full-house, eights full of fives(8 8).

You have to copy paste the BB code and not the actual hand history (how it looks like)

Anyone one should 3bet 3x the original raise so I would go to $1.2

Now when you 3bet bigger, you can shove under potsized on the Flop. That looks less strong as you did now

Best regards,
Gerv
