[Closed] betsizing on turn 3b IP

I would shove it, even if he always has A hi fd here, he still has something like 25% equity, so he could just call your bet and it would be +EV according to the odds. (I think you have to call any river if he shoves, so he has to call 30$ to win something like 140, almost 1:5)

@getdota: but do you think that it makes no sense for him to c/r flop and not bet turn? thats exactly the reason why i chose to bet mediumish hoping to induce, i could even bet smaller but i was caught between two minds of inducing hoping he shoves over or pricing him for whatever draws. i think by shoving, we make things easy for ourselves but i really doubt he'll call his Ax FD since it'll make sooo much more sense for him to bet/call then to call a shove w/o FE

I think You can't induce with that sizing, because he would think he has no FE and never shove air there. I just want to say that, if he had fd, it would be better to just call your 30$ bet and shove river if he hits and fold if doesn't. You can't bet 2 streets here with 1 potsize bet left, so our only alternative is to shove IMO if we want to bet. OFC his line looks weird for me, I think he would shove any good hand himself here. He could be tricky with set here.

Generally in a spot like this I like to shove because when we're in a spot where we can shove it in or bet small and leave us with some weird stacksize, the shove usually looks stronger because this is the line we take when we want to generate foldequity.

However, here we're committed anyway so I think the small bet is fine simply because the result will be exactly the same vs stronger hands, but as you say he might c/c a FD sometimes.
Notice that you should not make it any smaller because at some point he will get the odds to call (including the implieds).
