BTN: $101.50
Hero (SB): $197.99
BB: $217.26
CO: $70.17

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is SB with K :spade: K :club:
1 fold, BTN raises to $2.20, Hero raises to $7, BB calls $6, 1 fold

Flop: ($16.20) 9 :club: 4 :spade: 2 :spade: (2 players)
Hero bets $8.00, BB calls $8

Turn: ($32.20) Q :spade: (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $21.00, Hero calls $21

River: ($74.20) 8  (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $50.00, Hero calls $50

Villain: I think its one diamond member, no sample but looks nit-ish
PF: Duh
Flop: Value from TT-QQ maaybe some broadways? cause opener could be a fish but generally his range is just TT+
T: QQ got there, if he ha some broadways then he can float bet or he has a pair of QX so hje can valuebet or chbeh, I dotn care cause I have a Ks and he cant have any flush right now (cause its Qs not a Ts for example) -Or at elast its reaaaally unlikely
R: He bets so strong and only hand he can bet like this is QQ or turning some hadns into a bluff (and because I thoguth he is form PS so I ave him credit for that) so I called hoping he is a sophisticated player that doesnt ahve only 2 comos in his Range on the R

Well if he really was diamond then your play is fine.

[sarcasm off]

3b to sth like 8, flop bet should be sth like 12, it should also be bigger on turn. I would also bet all 3 streets for value from all his queens.

And if he would be platinum like u?

And Queens have us crushed on the T, just sayin

but yea, I should have betted more on the Flop cause he is mostly calling anyway
However, I thoguht me might raise

Biggest mistakes in this hand: a) overvaluing diamond members
b) bb's range is going to be wider if btn is a fish and he's ip vs you
c) I'm pretty sure your too often beat on the river to be calling his 2/3 bet.

I mean it's kind of tough to find a ton of hands that beat you on river but hands like 88, 99, QQ, 98s, 7s6s, JsTs, (if he's a nit maybe even 9s8s) AAs. Don't expect to see anyone turning hands like TT/JJ into a bluff on river. Why? Because you're not going to be folding Qx+. So if villain is good, he's not bluffing on that river.

diamond member = more rake.
i've seen losing diamond members, like myself

Since we're deep I make it 9 preflop.
As played 12-14 on the flop.

On the turn my default play is to bet/fold to get some value vs Qx type hands that floated and maybe some thin value from JJ/TT.
However, c/calling is an optionto get a bet out of Qx as well as from all the floats, but be aware that this weakens your 2ndbarrelingrange significantly.
So if you c/c here, you should not 2nd barrel those scarecards with air vs him in the future.

As played on the river imo the big bet is most likely strong hand because something like KQ or even QJ would bet smaller to get thin value from JJ/TT or weaker Qx.
Also he has a lot of flushes in his range as he can call a ton of suited cards vs our 3bet because we're deep.
So to me it's a c/f.
