So I cant grind more on that later so ive finnaly found time to make a blog. Im 21 from a small city in northern ontario canada with very little to do. Winters are very long and pretty depresing. The summer can be alright and there is at least alot of beaches around.Parents are divorced. My father is the biggest degenerate stoner I know bets on sports buys a lottery ticket plays poker drunk/high every day a quater native american. He gave me my first experiences with poker when he would let me play 1 or 2 dollar mtt’s that I would of course ship ;p. But unfortunately I didnt get into it untill recently. However for some reason im nothing like him. I dont gamble, not even in poker I hate to admit it but I must be one of the biggest nits I have made enough to be rolled for nl200 easy but still play as low as and mostly nl25.
More on how I got into poker. Well I used to play a game called starcraft and I was pretty good im sure many of you have heard of how many starcraft players have become huge at poker. Well I used to play against most of them including elky, lex veldhuis teampoker strategy member nazgul, fisheye, schiniblor and even a certain head english mod. Well one of my closest friends not to well known but a guy who has lived off his winnings for the last 5 years or so goose58 just gave me and another friend a pretty good chunk of change to try are luck. Well im afraid to say I didnt take it too seriously. I didnt spew it like most people would I simple didnt play it much it didnt interest me at the time but I now regret that. I slowly used the money over a year or two grinding some nl25 but slowly losing it in that and huge mtt that I wasint rolled for. About a year and a half ago maybe two I found this site in the profile of pretty well known german starcraft player named mondragon, I had been playing pennie games with my sc friends recently and one had even been staking me in mtt on stars and I had been doing decent he was a baller another friend he even stakees me for the Sunday mill LOL. There was also this daily free role promotion by a starcraft ladder site with a piont system (1st place 100 pionts 100th 1 piont) something like that with some decent prize like 1k for first. So in the second month of it I gave it a go and shipped two of them 300+ fields in back to back days and another that week and was set to take that number one prize but because lack of interest in it they never paid the players for the second month. But all this got me interested in poker again so when I saw the referal link I gave it a go.
For once in my life I seemed concentrated on something I studied the ss strategy which was completely a new term to me and aced the test. Trippled the 50 bucks hit a downswing got really sick of it and went back to bss and never looked back. I will be honest ive barely used anything else on this site on this site to help my game ive learned more from experience im just the kind of person who learns from doing although its definely the harder and longer path so dont follow my exampl e but the free 50$ and sss I learned from this site really opened the doors of poker for me so thank you. However two or so months of this I was sidelined by a summer job out of town in a provincial park (no internet but awsome job) Then I was pretty much forced into college by my parents which I had little interest in. Near the end of the semester I got the swine flu I think ;p I was really sick for weeks and feel behind finished the semester but never went back.
This was about a year ago (january 2010) thats when I decided to take poker seriously and try to make it my full time job and I seemed to be doing that for the first month. For the first time ever I went a bit out of brm I put all my money on about 14 nl25 tables and let it grind. It was an upswing baby to this day im not sure how big of an upswing it was i didnt use a hud or anything. I played 10k hands a day was diamond in less then two weeks and by the end of the month I had a solid br of 3000. I was still pretty bad but I knew how to grind like a nit baby. Unfortunately I tried more aggresive styles got a little bit depressed mostly because of the cold canadian winter and over the next 4 or so months I played alot less and barely had anything left and about this time my mother and her boyfriend who I lived with cut off the internet .
Since then I have never had easy access to the internet I worked part time near my dad so would crash at his place and grind when he wasin’t yelling at me sending me in tilty spirals or losing all his money on poker. Funny story one night I let him use my account he placed well in two tourneys winning about 700 and took it to some cash games got up another 300 ( hes wasted) I go to sleep I wake up and go to grind and im down from when he started ;p, yep never let him use my account again. So at the end of last summer I had a nice run again turning my all time low 200$ after my winter tilt back up to where I was and never looked back. What really changed was I learned theres no piont being a crazy lag at the micros I learned alot from losing, I learned how to win not to just be a breakeven rakeback donk.
The first 2 months of the new year have been my best I have made full time money playing poker part time by going to my aunts when shes at work while working part time. I have had good winrates been on the ultimate grinding leaderboards and saved up 20000 party pionts (3000$) that I am about to cash in to add to my role while cashing out 5k last week. I also just bought a laptop since my computer broke half a year ago.
Unfortunately this month I havent played very much. I’ve been fighting with my dad I can no longer play at my aunts due to a change in her work hours and although I do get some free access at home with my laptop It discs way to much and is not good enough to risk my money. So the answer is simple GET MY OWN PLACE, why not? Im a cheap bastard I barely spend my money except for a night out with the boys I probly have enough money to live off of for a year and I still work 3-4 times a week.
This brings us to the present im looking for apartments but also kinda waiting on 3 friends who are getting a place next month. Pretty much just wasting potential like ive done the last year sitting here making a very long blog on limited internet activity but that will change! Well this will be the end of my spew and the rest will be pure poker stuff.

- GET A PLACE AND INTERNET SO I CAN GRIND ALL I WANT (key)
-now that a have a steady computer I need to figure out how to use my hud
-use this free time to work on my game with videos, sweet sessions (watching others play help them as they help me sort of deal)
So ya congrats if you read this whole thing I would never had (A.D.D?) Its acualy amazing I sat down and wrote it. Dont be shy my skype is sicklucker I just got skype this week and want to break it in. ILL watch you play or whatever nl10 and up give pretty much free coaching to the newer players and learn and help from players at my level ill get mikogo or whatever pm here and ill be sure to keep this blog active but there wont be much poker action for awhile
