Hi everyone!

I need some help with this hand. I think that my pre flop raise is standard. What should I have done on the flop? There is one overcard and 2 flush cards. I was a pre-flop aggressor, so I decided to c-bet. How should I play pocket pairs when I am a pre-flop aggressor and there is one and how when two overcards against one and how against two players?

Thanks a lot!

I think you played it well.

Pre is super standard and well played

Cbet/fold from this position and with position on both opponents. Check/fold when oop against both opponents. and check/fold if you wouldn't have the 9 :spade:. it gives us some nice barrel cards on the turn and the redraw equity helps a cbet.

as played turn is a bit tricky... I might bet out small/fold as some kind of semi bluff here.. I think we can get Jx to easily fold on this card.. and he'll 2bet any good made hands here.. if not we have a redraw..
Actually with our stack size we only have like 1 pot size bet left?? yea I'm leaning towards a check/fold now..

river I would probably just check/fold.. might check/call reasonable amount like if he bets ~250.. but generally we are going to be behind here...

it's hard to say exactly how your supposed to play pocket pairs with overpairs...It depends a lot on the situation.. Just note these hands down next couple of days you play and post them here.. and I'm sure you'll be a pro at playing pocket pairs with overcard on the flop in no time..

gonna forward to the other judges just to see if they have something to add in this interesting spot.

Not sure about this one either. I cbet higher and call a shove. If they both shove I fold. As played I shove the turn.

Hi all,

I like the entire hand as played. River's pretty close. If I bet I would bet 300 or check and fold to a bet. I think both are fine, it's just a question of how often villain bets Jx/Kx on the turn and how often he calls A high/lower pocketpairs on the river.

Chenny is shoving the turn just not optimal or is it really bad? Obviously turning it into a bluff but we have less than pot left and (maybe I'm too optimistic) I feel he could fold Jx so we'd get some nice dead money.

Not great the times we get it in really really awfully < the chance * the times we get him to fold a better made hand
