I was sweating with my friend (he plays rush nl200/400) and such a spot occured:

$0.25/$0.50 No Limit Holdem
6 Players
Hand Conversion Powered by weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG ($57)
UTG+1 ($50.15)
CO ($71.75)
BTN ($50)
Hero (SB) ($124.40)
BB ($58.20)

Pre-Flop: ($0.75, 6 players) Hero is SB J♠ J♣
3 folds, BTN raises to $1.50, Hero raises to $5.25, BB raises to $12, BTN folds, Hero ??

He said it's great spot to shove, because it's also great spot for BB to 4bet. BB had 25% 4bet but it was 1/4. What do you think? Thought it's too small sample to judge, and it's nl50.

About 20 minutes later this happened:

$0.25/$0.50 No Limit Holdem
6 Players
Hand Conversion Powered by weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG ($55.15)
UTG+1 ($45)
Hero (CO) ($61.10)
BTN ($278.60)
SB ($54.10)
BB ($79.20)

Pre-Flop: ($0.75, 6 players) Hero is CO K♣ A♠
2 folds, Hero raises to $1.50, 1 fold, SB raises to $5.50, BB raises to $13, Hero ??

SB 20/17 3bet 8.1% 3bet from sb 7%
BB 21/18 3bet 7.5% 3bet from bb 13% 4bet 15% 4bet range 2.6%
Had about 2k hands on both of them.

This time I ended up shoving, since they had fairly big numbers and I didn't expect to get called by worse than KK.

What are your thoughts on both spots?

Generally speaking you shouldn't be 3-betting hands like AK, JJ if your not willing to get them in preflop.

In both those spots its any easy 5-bet jam given the late positions and you have around 40% equity with both those hands and the BB can be bluffing a lot in that spot so you do have some FE and sometimes yo get called by worse like AQs or TT.

You shouldn't depend on 4-bet stats unless you have at least 2K hands on your opponent since this stat needs a massive sample size to be accurate.

+1
I´d also shove at both cases, since seems like they might be 4-bet bluffing so you always have there fold equity
