Hello PokerStrategists out there,

I have finally arrived at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel, the venue of THE Everest Poker ONE for the next days. The tournament is going to start in a few minutes, most of the players are already at their tables. Media area is right next to the tournament area for a short distance to our Team PokerStrategy.com players.

Updates and the main information about THE Everest Poker ONE will come soon and I have also already got some pictures.

With a short delay, tournament director Thomas Kremser from TK Poker Events has officially opened the Everest Poker ONE. Buy-In to the main event ist 5.300€ and there is a guaranteed pricepool of 1.000.000€.

Blinds start at 50 - 100 and the starting stack is 30.000 chips, 60 minutes at each blind level. There will be played a total of nine blind levels today.

Our Team PokerStrategy.com players Allanon, Bokkie, MikaPaasonen, Nazgul, Thorsten77 and VojtaR already played their first hands.

Blinds 50 - 100:

Allanon raises in UTG+1, MP calls and BB calls.

Three players, flop comes T:s 5:h J:h, Allanon bets 625, MP raises to 2.000, BB folds and Allanon calls. A:H on the turn and both players check, Allanon bets 3.000 on the A:c river and MP folds.

MikaPaasonen is up to 52.000 chips after he won several pots, two of them with a straight and one with a set.

Blinds 75 - 150:

Allanon raises to 400 on the HJ, BU reraises to 1025, Allanon 4bets to 2550, BU calls.

Flop: 8:s 6:h 7:d and Allanon bets 2850, BU calls.
Turn: 4:c Allanon checks, BU bets 3.300 and Allanon folds.

Allanon: 23.000 chips

The main event is on a short break, the players will be back soon at the tables and me too with some chipcounts.

After some bluff 4bets and 5bets by Nazgul where he got caught every time, the following hand happend.

Blinds 75 - 150:

MP raised, Nazgul (SB) 3bet, 4bet by the BB, MP folded, Nazgul min5bet, BB called
KT2 ont he flop with a possible flushdraw, Nazgul bet 5.000 in the pot of 13.200, BB raised all-in to 21.000, Nazgul snapcalled with pocket KK, SB showed QJo, Q on the turn and 3 on the river and Nazgul could win the big pot and is now up to 61.000 chips.
