okay my hand histories playin on so ill quickly explain
825 man MTT, payin the top 100
down the last 60 well into the money, im sittin on 18k with the average stack of 20k blinds 1k/500 with a 100 anti
villain in HJ min raises to 2k (16k stack)
hero re-raised in BU all in for 18k with AJ off
Villain calls with AA.
whats are peoples thought, im not sure if i had too many chips to re steal, or AJ wasnt strong enough to re steal with etc. feedback greatly appreicated

you could 3bet here to 5K but its getting close to pot commited & if you are then shove
people min bet with wider range than As/Ks so realy cant you them on that , few years ago you could but not now

Depends how active he has been on previous hands? Has he done a lot of steals and so on? Or just being rather tight and not raising much. If he is rather being tighter side then I would just fold while we have pretty decent stack left and I don't want to ship my moneyz with just AJo and at the best get a flip and while we could be far behind if we get called by like AQ/AK or any kind of PP.

I agree with veriz. Of course this depends on his aggression. 3bet is no option here as this would commit as vs the 16k Stack.
With Antes the general dynamic should be rather aggresive. And especially people minraising are on the looser side.
So I lean a bit more towards the push than veriz. Push is standard, fold vs tight.
alright cheers i really appreciate the feedback, i havnt played too many torny, mainly only sngs so im tryin to learn the fine line between building a stack and takin the opportunities and not bein too agressive with hands which will just get me in trouble
