This will be updated every weak.

Would be nice to see comments on the hands.

Button was a Tag. My Plan was to check/fold the River unimproved.

I like it. On a rainbow flop I like to check/raise and to bet the turn also. Would you play this line sometimes as well?

Looks nice. Would you have called turn with K high aswell?

@cirith: really depends on the player and our history, but a lot of player would fold a better K high there if i c/r. But this play need to be balanced by c/r with the Ace.

@yoghi: would be difficult i think its close but a fold. his bet could also mean something since he would not always make a 2nd contibet on a A high Board.

Well do you never check/raise an ace here? sometimes you hit a set also. Isn't that enough?

yes i would c/r an ace here almost 100%

Interesting Hand from the FL SH Gold Coaching on Monday 10th of March

Bet Turn or Take the Freecard?

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is UTG with T♦ Q♦
Hero raises, 2 folds, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: 5♥ J♠ 6♥ (6SB, 3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB calls.

Turn: 9♠ (4.5BB, 3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero?

Personally, I would bet here, but it's mostly because I'm playing micro limits for now and 2 villains calling flop bet doesn't mean they have something decent and might fold on turn bet. Also I'll have enough odds to call a raise (if it happens) - 6 discounted outs.
On higher limits I believe both villains have something, like two broadway overcards, flushdraw. So by betting the turn you won't get more than one of them out of the game, moreover, the one on a flush draw might play aggresively his fd holding Kh, and we'll have to call his raise (according to our outs) and we'll be behind on a river even if he won't hit his flush.
And although they don't have made hand (flop calls and turn checks show that pretty clearly I think) I'd prefer taking a free card here against 2 still in play.

I would check vs 2.

(probably when I do the calculation it turns out betting is more profitable :P )

#2

I don't us ahead here often enough and without calculating it I think it isn't for value as well. (I bet A-high for a freesd.)

mh how about making the thread sticky ?

There are already to many threads (I sometimes see the forum on a notebook ancd it the stickies are nearly 1 page ^^) and it's "just" a hand. :)

mh ok i see your point.

"and it's "just" a hand."
btw: öhm is there always only one hand in your coaching which is "interesting" for the whole community (;)) or is it your plan to post "only" the most interesting hand ? don´t get me wrong (i know how it sounds to you right now ) but would it be possible to post the best 3-5 hands of each coaching or something like that ? imo the thread is a very good idea and it´s just wasted potential if you only post 1 hand per week.

I don't do coachings? Do you mean Cornholio? ;)

With "just" I meant that the hand is not evaluated as the instructional sample hands are. But I guess I get your point that it's not about this hand but for future hands as well which is a good idea. Now we only need to know if Cornholio want to continue posting hands here. :)

We were asked to do it, so its official somehow thus it would be good if this thread could get little bit more attention, so makin it sticky somewhere could be good, but i will not do it, cirith should decide :)

@frzl: dont know, we were asked to post 1 hand, and grab´em is not runnig on my computer so 1 hand is enough ;)

but its supposed to go on, means that we try to post a hand every week.

the hand: i dont know! i would check, atuerke who coached with me would bet.

It's not about the amout it's just about the frequency. Of course I have nothing against it. Done!

Maybe I can post educational hands as well if I find one and you comment them if you want so. :)

NH I guess. He probably has overplayed kings or aces.

Can you give me the nick of this player :P? I'm gonna move up to 3/6 tonight and those are the players I love.

I don't know him. ;) Only played a few hands an PT is really a bad software at finding player. PO is much better in it. :/

But you will find enough of them.
