I bet pot size for giving drawing hands bad outs, on the turn it completes two of the SD, but I got to defend against hands that still are drawing and worse hands then mine.

River is an easy shove as there is only one hand that beats mine, the 77.

Right played?

There will be times you bet full pot on the turn and your opponent has a straight, it will suck, but given you got 20% of your stack in before the turn there is no option. You have to bet the turn in case you are ahead, and if your opponent shoves, with only $2 left to win a $10 pot in total, you have to call the raise.

If you were deeper there would be an argument for checking the turn if it comes a jack, as this both completes the obvious outside draw (89xx) and also the obvious inside draw (KQJx)

But the 9 isn't so bad for you. some opponents would shove the flop with 986x or J98x and those who do put you on aces, I can't see wanting to call with a gutshot so i'm happy betting full pot on this turn.
