You just made BB very happy here.

This is probably a QQ+ even KK+ spot. Always avoid big stack when there's such a small stack at the table!!

Fold to the 3 bet easy.

You should have folded considering BB had such a small stack and that you had over 10 BB. However, direct pushing would have been better then open raising. If the SB is not an idiot he can only call with like KK+ here, so it really is only you vs button and button's range in this situation should be fairly small because he also takes into consideration that your pushing when there is a very shortstacked player on the table. Hence, if both players are playing optimally a push here would not be so bad but a fold is safer.

your hand still isnt strong enough to induce because you have so many BBs and the BB is a micro-stack. I think with TT/JJ/QQ/AQs/AK I would just shove it in because we dont want to get re-shoved on by the BTN (even if we KNOW hes reshoving ATC its still ugly for us). and with KK+ we can raise to induce him because KK+ has good enough equity.

I played it far from optimal, obviously.
When I got reshoved here I was actually counting on the villain's 3bet range being very wide. That's why I made the call. But I was wrong and he had kings.
Guess I'll need to learn to push these hands directly even with a larger stack (in terms of bbs).

On a side note, would you consider folding?

it doesnt matter what hes pushing. if hes pushing ATC its still a bad raise/call spot. you shouldnt always shove this hand directly, its just a very specific bubble situation where shoving is best.

im never open folding. its a +EV shove
