He may well have out played me, or the A on the flop was the case A i just dont know. Could i have just shipped it there? didnt like the 3hearts on board or his pre flop 4bet. Just felt pretty strong the whole hand.

Nah, not really. The problem is that some people tend to raise it on flop with some draws and now a lot of draws completed on turn. Against some passive opponents we sometimes may even fold right on flop.
