Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (9 handed) - Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

MP1 ($3.57)
MP2 ($7.47)
MP3 ($9.05)
CO ($11.87)
Button ($16.30)
SB ($21.91)
Idiot (BB) ($17.88)
UTG ($3.64)
UTG+1 ($2.85)

Preflop: Idiot is BB with 7, 7
6 folds, Button bets $0.30, 1 fold, Idiot raises to $0.90, Button calls $0.60

Flop: ($1.85) 2, 5, J (2 players)
Idiot checks, Button checks

Turn: ($1.85) 9 (2 players)
Idiot bets $0.90, Button calls $0.90

River: ($3.65) 7 (2 players)
Idiot bets $16.08 (All-In), 1 fold
Total pot: $3.65 | Rake: $0.24

I was planning to check-raise turn, but since villain checked, I figured turn is ok'ish for a steal attempt. What I totally missed was the fact that him calling turn could've been due to drawing to a flush (duh), hence my push on river was plain nuts, since Jx :spade:. Regardless - how much should I bet on river for value? All comments welcome! :f_cool:

Overbet shove is too large that he would call you down with Jx
So I´d prefer going for 2.5$ valuebet and then folding to shove

Hello dubadal,

Flop: Guess you did mean Check/Raise the flop? Because basically Check/Raising turn doesn't make sense.
Turn: Once again, you lack of bet sizing. If you want to represent here anything then do it properly and bet it bigger like $1,40. With such a 1/2 pot size bet you basically are saying "I have a weak hand, raise me".
River: What worse do you want to Call you? Not really big fan of the shove, basically you wont get called here by this move by anything. Rather make a normal bet like $2-3.

Best regards.
