Hello all,

I'm Bryan S., Manager of the Tournaments Team on PokerStars. We'd like your thoughts on the movements of some of the major tournaments on our Sunday schedule, as well as a couple of others during the week.

We're considering the following moves, based on the success of SCOOP in earlier time frames:

06:00 ET Sunday Kickoff (was 08:00 ET)
11:00 ET Sunday Warm-Up (was 13:00 ET)
13:30 ET Sunday Storm (was 15:30 ET)
14:30 ET Sunday Million (was 16:30 ET)
15:30 ET Sunday 500 (was 17:30 ET)
16:30 ET Sunday 2nd Chance (was 18:30 ET)

Also moving:

17:00 ET Monday -- $530 Monday Omaha (was 20:00 ET)
17:00 ET Tuesday -- $1,050 Super Tuesday (was 20:00 ET)

Thoughts? Thanks for taking the time. :)

If you really are who you are, PokerStrategy usually gives you a special image or something.

I don't play any of these tournaments, but I like the old schedule for all of them (I'm in ET and like waking up late).

Makes sense to move them back 2 hours. Seeing as the Americans can no longer play.

Suits me better being a European, but I don't play there or don't play those tournaments personally.

sunday changes are great, however these 2 are still very late for us euros.

why not around 14:00 ET?

Hi guys,

The tourneys aren't exclusively European, and moving them back a full 5 hours would basically take them away from those who are playing them now. There's a certain reluctance to move them at all for that reason, in fact, but we'll mitigate the effects for those who are playing them now by extending late registration.

Thanks to everyone who's provided feedback thusfar!

Thanks to everyone who's provided feedback, across many forums including this one. Many tournaments will be moving, including the moves above listed for the Warm-Up, Storm, Million, 500, Monday Omaha, Super Tuesday, and 2nd Chance (Kickoff: not moving). We'll also be taking a close look at tournaments impacted by these moves to see if any others need adjustment. The moves will take place for the week ending June 5th.

Thanks again.

would be nice if someday playing times would be convenient for asia/australia markets as well.
