Well, I know it's not standard play but what do you guys think? Should play check/fold here?
1) You can raise pre-flop. Completing SB is a strong sign of weakness and you will take the pot right there a lot of the time + you have the position postflop. If you don`t feel comfortable with that - just check.
2) Haflpot bet HU is quite standart. You need to win only 1 out of 3 times to breakeven.
Xylere, could you answer another question? What to do with small PP when it's folded to you on the SB?

Especially if you are up against a passive player. Against agressive one better just check, because you will have less FE on the flop or he will just donk)
On the flop you follow qith cbet of course, if opponent checks.
