[Closed] KQ hits and I get raised on flop?

Thought I had him on the hook when the flop hit and he reraised me. I called then checked behind for value but when that A of diamonds hit and he bet so much I thought I was beat for sure. I actually put him on AK due to the reraise on the flop, though he may have hit the flush. Definitely had him on a K on the flop. Gotta discount the king of diamonds so...I'd say he defintitely had AK. Anyway I could have not played it this way? lol

Hello Edukator99,

On such a dry board I usually just do Bet/Fold it more often against his line. Unless he is really some kind of more aggressive style.

And basically doesn't make much sense to Call the flop and then Check behind on turn. What do you want to see from his side? That he is going to Check till river showdown? Don't think so. :)
