Making a few bob off poker takes a lot of hard work. A part-time job at Wimpy's is probably far easier. ♦
That said, poker can be very rewarding if you put the work into it and ride out the inevitable bad stretches. Read the articles, watch the videos, attend the live coaching sessions, and submit your hands for feedback on the hand evaluation fora. Maintain good bankroll management (BRM) and stay disciplined, and in three or four months you might have some idea whether poker is working for you or not.
