I'm either flatting pre or 3b with the intention of getting it in, I don't see why you flat the 4b pre? Either he has AA and your beat no problem just move on to the next hand or he has something like AK and is happy going with it, at which point you want to get the money in when he still wants to go broke.

Agree with this.
However, if the positions were different (f.e. BU vs CO) and the opponent had a 4betbluffingrange, it might be ok to flat the 4bet if we suspect he is going to spazz out postflop.
