You've backdoored a straight and I honestly expect it to be good here. I would bet around half pot and expect to get looked up by an 8 that isn't full or 76xx.

I don't see how a hand better than yours checks to you other than someone bluffing the turn with QJTx.

As for the turn, you can't really raise it, you're just going to isolate yourself against better hands here. Well, you can raise it, but you certainly can't against anyone showing a good level of aggression. If you are playing against a passive player then you can raise to $7.50 knowing he wont play back at you lightly (but then why is he betting the turn?).

My main issue is I can't imagine any hand I have where I 3 bet preflop, check behind on the flop and raise this turn card that isn't 99xx. I think for balance you should be betting this flop OR calling his turn bet. Checking behind the flop and raising the turn is unbalanced and I don't see you doing it at all pretty much with hands you 3 bet preflop.

I much prefer a turn float call, which is what I would also do with hands like KK or QJTx on the turn here.

It makes me more likely to bet the river since i'm never getting bluff raised here. Looks an easy value bet though we could be value betting ourselves to an underfull
