Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $100(BB) Replayer
SB ($3,321)
BB ($3,340)
Hero ($2,339)

Dealt to Hero K♣ A♠

Hero raises to $200, SB raises to $3,321 (AI), fold, Hero calls $2,139 (AI)

villain is v strong reg playing all the way up to $110s. He showed up with A8o here which leads me to:

1. I am bet/folding a ton here and he knows it if he can profitably 3b shove A8o in this spot.
2. Is his play not a bit risky given the BB just outchips him?
3. Should I widen my calling range (from TT+/AK - maybe AQ) to stop being exploited?

Thx

after this action even a fish BB will reshove with something like TT+ AK+ so a really small %

depends from your raising range, if you raise let's say 30-35% and fold everything besides 4% SB can easily outplay you

IMHO the solution is not to start calling him wider (let's say 66+ AT+) but to raise less, so if they continue to resteal light they will loose a ton of ev€

I like Elfigus's post...calling wider on the bubble as a counter strategy is never really optimal. Raise less, maybe call a bit wider if you don't see him adjusting.
